BMET has been serving the medical community
on the Eastern Shore of Maryland since June of 1998.
BMET provides inventory control, electrical safety inspections, equipment PM and repair
services, as well as equipment history documentation to comply with JCAHO
standards and Medicare billing.
BMET is an independent company having no affiliation with OEM's or other service companies.
This gives you a completely unbiased appraisal of your equipment.
BMET is a one-man shop, currently employed as a bio-medical technician for
a large health care system on the Eastern Shore of Maryland, and also contracted to a number of
hospitals on the lower shore. This full time employment means BMET is continually
keeping abreast of new equipment, and is constantly working hands-on with over 320 models and in
excess of 2300 pieces of equipment on a full time basis of PM and repair.
This also means that because BMET lives and works on the Eastern Shore of Maryland, BMET can respond
quickly to your service calls when paged, calling you back within minutes, setting up a satisfactory
time to respond to your service call. In addition, because BMET provides
biomedical engineering services as an independent, after regular employment
hours, the associated costs for these services are greatly reduced.
BMET has the following clientele: urology, optical, cardiology, ob gyn, podiatry, oncology,
dermatology and
surgery centers, in addition to veterinary hospitals.
